About the Project

Set along the banks of the Ganges, this resort was designed to let the river lead. Guest pavilions step back from the water in layered terraces, each framing a different angle of the ghats and the hills beyond. Local stone, warm timber, and quiet material transitions carry the design from the arrival courtyard through to the riverside decks, so the building reads less as an object on the site and more as an extension of it.
